Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to:

- Analyze the growth process of the Korean economy and its current position within the global economy.
- Evaluate Korea’s role in the world economy through the lens of rapid industrialization and innovation.
- Understand the interconnectedness between Korean, Asian, and global economic dynamics.
- Explain the Korean economic development model, including key industries, trade, and financial systems.
- Critically assess contemporary issues such as the digital economy, sustainability, and geopolitical risks.
- Contextualize the Korean economy from a broad perspective within the global economic environment.
Learning method and materials:
The content is divided into sections; students are advised to follow the provided schedule. The course materials include recorded online presentations/lectures, as well as obligatory and elective reading materials. Assignments consist of quizzes and an e-exam.
